Geomantic Information Systems is bringing you the latest in the occult and esoteric information included in maps and the land itself. Geomancy on a grand scale using ley lines and alignments of monuments is still being practiced the world over by an unknown group of people. Objects and monuments placed in these arrays can have many different meanings and intents.

Thomas Jefferson established the Public Land Survey System (PLSS) in the United States in 1795. This system was initially known as the township system and resembles a majic square that is used in Sumerian numerology and the occult. Jefferson numbered each 6 mile x 6 mile township in squres 1-36 starting "backwards" in the NE corner and working as the numbers progress to the southeast end of the square. This is known in Kablalistic and occult terms as a "Devil's Square" and all the numbers from 1-36 add up to 666.

Many occult groups in the U.S. today use this grid to orient their gatherings and ceremonies. Evidence suggests that monuments, objects, people and cities are placed as talismans on the alignments. Events that take place on the lines may have talismanic interpretations.

Bohemian Grove and Burning man are both situated in a portion of the grid used for occult divination and astrological forecasting. The founding fathers occult beliefs had a far reaching impact upon our history that is ignored or minimized today. Evidence suggests a class of people who continue to worship this way in America. Esoteric majic and the occult may have shaped our world more than we were ever taught. During the era of America's creation science and the occult were more associated than today and many of the great minds of the era still believed in majic, the stars, and even the gods.
